The ATG story

In 2004, Ben Doolan, the Managing Director of what is now ATG, acquired the Prior Group of companies – consisting of Mandurah Bus Charter, Fortesque Bus Services and various school bus contracts in the Kojonup, Mt Barker and Boyup Brook regions. This was the start of the ATG story.

The following year, ATG purchased Kalamunda Bus Services and Carnarvon Bus Charters, and significant improvements were made to internal processes and systems to enable ATG to genuinely operate as a provider of bus transport solutions of the highest quality.

Since that time, numerous acquisitions have been made and competitive tenders have been won. ATG now owns and operates approximately 600 buses around Australia, but ATG’s reach is now beyond buses – the recent acquisition of Pilbara Car and Truck Rental has enabled ATG to provide customers with flexible solutions to vehicle hire needs of all types, including solutions for clients in the mining industry.

While the ATG brand is now recognised in urban and regional centres around Australia, it remains a company that is focussed on solving issues for clients at a local level.

ATG prides itself on being a trusted partner, and a local-area expert.

ATG is 100% Australian owned, operated and managed.
